Here's a little dictionary sort of list of some things found on Neopets and what they are/their defintion. These are things unique mostly only to Neopets.com. If you would like to contribute to this list, Please email jadey213@yahoo.com.Here is the list:

Acara-A cute little 4-legged Neopet.

Adam-The person who initially thought up Neopets. Was helped by Donna.

Adoption Agency-The place that is chock full of abandoned neopets waiting for you to come save them. If you are thinking of creating a new pet, don't..visit this adoption agency because sometimes people throw away painted pets or ones with good stats!

Aisha-A cat-like neopet with really looooong ears.

Auctions-Place an item of your choice up for bid and see how many neopoints you can fetch for it at this part of the site. You can also bid on other people's items to see if you win ^_^

Avatars- These are pixels that are collectable throguhout Neopets. You can change which one you are using by going to the main chat page and clicking on "Chat Preferences."

Battledome-A place to battle your neopet(s) against creatures in Neopia or just against other people's neopets. It is better to have your pet equipped with some really kewl items so they can win easier :)

Blumaroo-A boingy little neopet, they go around bouncing on their tails.

Bruce-A cute neopet, it reminds many of a penguin.

Buzz-This neopet is kind of like a wasp or a bee.

Cave Chia-A crazy battledome opponent you have to beat to get a trophy on one of the levels of Defenders of Neopia.

Chat Page-Go here and choose a chat board. Here you can talk about anything you want, as long as you don't violate any of the chat rules.

Chia-A flubbery little neopet.

Chomby-A cute dinosaur type of neopet, with spikes on the back and everything.. looks all the world like a stegosaurus.

Cybunny-A neopet that is a...bunny rabbit! Name kind of decribes it all, dontcha think..?

Donna-The co-creator of Neopets. She helped Adam when his idea was still getting started.

Draik-Aww.. A cute little dragon sort of neopet, with wings and all.

Edna The Witch-If you visit the haunted woods, you might find her and receive a quest from her...

Elephante-Self descriptive name for this neopet, eh? It is an elephant, plain and simple ^_~

Eyrie-This neopet is rather royal looking, a bird sort of thing, although it has a rather large beak..

Faerieland-A world in Neopia where faeries live.

Faeries-Delightful little creatures who can give you quests and little gifts, such as petpet paint brushes..

Faerie Quests-Faeries sometimes randomly pick you to complete a quest for them. They ask you for an item and if you get it for them, they increase your pet's stats or feed them.

Flotsam-A little dolphin sort of pet.. not exactly a dolphin, but it bears a resemblance.

Freeze/Freezing/Frozen-If you ignore your official warning and continue to do things tht violate either chat rules or Neopets Terms and Conditions (Neopets T & C), your account will be frozen. That means you lose that account along with anything and everything you had on it. There is am extremely slim chance of getting it back.

Fuzzle-A cute little item that is very common in neopia and very fuzzy.

Games Page-Here you can find all of the games you could ever want to play- and more. Some of these gamse are very simple, while others are mindbenders.

Gelert-A neopets that resembles a dog.

Ghost Lupe-A creature who goes around neopia and helps your pet sometimes by increasing stats and doing other kewl things.

Grarrl-An evil neopet that also resembles a dinosaur..tyrannosaurus rex (tyrant king).

Grundo-I don't know what you would call this neopet.. a giant ant? An alien type bug? Who knows.

Guild-A guild is a thing you can either join or create.It's a place where you can get together, have parties and giveaways all the time. You also get a photo album and your own Message Board for your guild!

Haunted Woods-Here's another world on neopets. Just what it says-Haunted Woods. There's some spooky stuff around there.

Ixi-A CUTE neopet! My favorite! Not because they resemble goats, but because of the cuteness!

Jetsam-Evil, sharklike neopet.

Jubjub-Round little neopets, they are pretty cute, too.

Kacheek-These neopets are kind of cute as well.Bushy lil tails and all.

Kau-This neopet is exactly like... a COW! lol

Kiko-A little rotund animal that could possibly resemble a fish in some cases.

Koi- A fish type of neopet.

Kougra-Reminds me of a tiger..because that's exactly what it looks like :)

Korbat-This neopets is just like a bat.

Krawk Island-Another Neopian world, it's an island place.

Krawk-A lizard/dragon sort of neopet.

Kyrii-This neopets rather resembles a fox of some sort.

Lenny-This bird like neopet is very tall with long legs.

Lost Desert-Desert oasis.. yet another neopian world!

Lupe-This neopet resembles a wolf or a dog.

Marketplaces-Where the biggest neopets user's shops are displayed, usually shops with sizes in the hundreds!

Meerca-A neopet that resembles a squirrel..I hate squirrels..LoL

Meridell-The newest Neopian world.

Moehog-A pig like neopet.

Monitors-The Neopets Team has a bunch of monitors that watch the message boards and warn/ freeze you for breaking the Neopets T & C or violating chat rules.

Mynci-A monkey-like neopet.

Mystery Island-It's a tropical little island- another of neopia's worlds.

Negg-Items that can help your pet(s) gain hp, strength, etc.

Neofriend-Just like a buddy list from AOL, MSN or YIM.

Neohome-A place wher you can pay to have rooms built for you, wherever you want and you can choose what it is built out of. You are also able to place furniture in these rooms.

Neomail-Just like email.

Neopian Bank-Store all of you neopoints here, gain interest and you can become rich in no time!

Neopian Stock Market-Just like the NYSE or whatever. Buy stocks, sell them, do what you like with them.

Nerkmid-A nerkmid is a star shaped object that you can get through random events or by buying them from other people's shops. If you do buy them from shops, they cost a lot of neopoints. If you get one, one way or the other, either take it to the Alien Aisha Vending Machine and turn it in for neopoints or items (you can sometimes get another nerkmid from doing this..also,the prizes are sometimes less than what you paid if you bought it) or you can sell it-check the shop wizard first to make sure you don't rip yourself off.

News Page-The page where The Neopets Team places all of the updates they make to the site as well as additions and other things.

Nimmo-A frog like neopet.

Noticeboard-Here's the place to place an ad for your guild or shop. Beware..to get on the main page or even close to it, you may have to pay MILLIONS of neopoints.

Official Warnings-These are sent by theneopetsteam through neomail if you have done anything wrong continuosly on the message boards or anywhere else. If you continue after a warning, you will be frozen!

Paint brushes-Items that are coveted by all neopians, to take to the Rainbow Pool and paint their pets beautiful colors.

Pant Devil-This little blue creep goes around sometimes stealing rare items from you and sometimes taking junk you don't want anyway.

Peophin-A horse- like neopet.

Pet Descriptions-You get to this page from Pet Central. You can write anything you like aobut your pets or yourself on this page, as long as it is APPROPRIATE.

Pet Pages-This is where decoration comes in. You can add backgrounds, make up stories about yourself and your pet and put them there. The possibilities are endless!

Pet-pet-Little creatures that serve as entertainment for your pets.

Pet Spotlight- You can submit your pet for the pet spotlight if you think it is really special. In order to do that, you usually have to have a story included in your submission.

Poogle-A little dog sort of thing.. I'm not quite sure of what it is though..

Pteri-A cute little bird, these things have attitude.

Quiggle-Another frog like pet.

Random Events-Little things that pop up randomly anywhere on neopets. They can be good- you found items, neopoints or other things- or they can be bad-things injuring your pets, the pant devil stealing things from you, the Tax Beast taking 10% of your money, etc.

Ruins Of Maraqua-There used to be a world here, but it was swallowed up by a whirlpool that is still going today.

Safety Deposit Box-Save all your rare items here- the ones you don't want to sell or keep in your regular inventory in case the pant devil steals something!

Scorchio-Another dragon type neopet.

Scratchcard-little things that you can buy from the scratchcard kiosk in Terror Mountain, then scratch them off to see if you get 3 of the same picture and get a prize. You can also sell these objects.

Shop Wizard-Search for any item you wish here and find the cheapest prices.

Shoyru-A cute little flying neopet.

Site Spotlight-You can also use pet pages as your very own website! When you do this, you can submit it for the site spotlight award!

Skeith-Once again, a dragon/ dinosaur type neopet. It's hard to tell which one it is in this case.

Snowager-Visit him at special times when he is sleeping and you may sneak off with some of his treasure..

Spam-On the message boards, it is against the rules to spam the message board or any messages on the boards. Spamming is posting the same message over and over again on purpose to try to get people to buy your product, visit you site, etc. You will get a warning for doing this.

Techo- This is a little lizard like animal.

Terror Mountain-Another world of neopia, this one is made of all ice.

Tonu-A rhino type of neopet.

Trading Post-Place an item or more than one item up for trade, see if anyone bids on it and if they do, trade with them (If the trade is a good one- not junky stuff for good stuff, etc.).

Tuskaninny-I suppose this neopet could be considered a walrus type of thing.

Tyrannia-Yet another world in neopia.

Uni-A unicorn type of neopet.

Usul-This neopet also resembles a squirrel.. how peculiar.

Virtupets Space Station-This last world is suspended high above the other s of neopia.

Wocky-I really couldn't tell you what kind of animal this neopet looks like, LoL.

Zafara-Awww.. Sooo cute, but yet, what IS it??
